About the Artists
Alisha Cline M. Photog., Cr., CPP
Alisha Cline, M. Photog., Cr., CPP is co-owner of Yellow Dog Portrait Co. along with her husband, Joshua. Her photographic brand is known for being timeless, with a specialty of fine art black and white portraiture full of personality and character. She is known for being open, caring and creative with her clients when behind the camera. She prefers to work in the studio photographing newborns to family elders and family pets.
Since 2014, Alisha has been mentoring photographers and speaking at PPA Affiliate events coast to coast. Her teaching style has become known as being dedicated, uplifting, and motivating. She is a member of the Miller’s Professional Imaging speaker team. She is involved with the photographic industry as an avid educator and print competitor. She travels monthly to give business leaders and photographic technique workshops. In 2019, Alisha earned her PPA Photographic Craftsman Degree for her educational contribution to the industry and an invitation to join the American Society of Photographers. Being a strong print competitor has earned her a spot in the top 30 of the Professional Photographer's of America's Grand Imaging Awards 2020 (out of 5700 entries), 2018 Georgia Photographer of the Year, 2018 CPP Award for Georgia, along with many other accolades. Alisha is a Certified Professional Photographer Liaison, a PPA volunteer instructor for PPA Photography Workshops.
When she is not being a photographer, you can find Alisha enjoying time with her husband and family, their three Labradors, and professionally training service dogs.
Joshua Cline Cr. Photog. - Marketing and Tech
Joshua is the other co-owner of Yellow Dog Portrait Co. He is the man with the plan for marketing and keeping the studio up to date with the latest technology. He'll is also involved with the Professional Photographers of America, travels with Alisha to conferences, enjoys photographing live music and events.
PPA: The Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree is awarded to photographers for their superior photographic skills demonstrated through the Photographic Open category of PPA’s International Photographic Competition, advanced education, and service to the industry.
The Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.) degree is awarded to photographers for their service as a speaker, author or mentor. This degree shows that you have gone beyond the creation of images and dedicated your time to move the industry forward and encourage education.
