2 Days July 8 & 9th

 

Join Alisha as she explains the science of how dogs learn and how to apply it to your sessions. She'll explain how you can help your pet parents prepare their fur child for their shoot in days leading up to the session. The science behind how animals learn and how to use that to your advantage to get the best portraits possible. Class will include a variety of different pups to play.... err... work with to learn lighting patterns and how to get poses that tell their story. 

*Outside of photography, Alisha is a AKC Approved Evaluator and International Association of Canine Professionals Pro-Member (The PPA of the dog world) working towards her CDT and CDT-SD credentials. She teaches AKC structured puppy and dog obedience classes and specializes in service dog training.*

Your camera, lenses, and note taking materials. Wear comfy clothes, you'll probably get furry.... 

2 Days - Feb 24-25 (Fri/Saturday)

2 Days - Sept 16-17

 

Join Alisha for this hands on portrait class. This workshop focuses on creating timeless black and white images with impact, creativity, technical excellence, and story telling. Day 1 starts with creating lighting with character and story telling with your subject. I'll show how I do it and explain why. Then you will have several opportunities to set up your lighting patterns - it's one thing for me to set it up, but this is about you learning how-to so you can do it in your own studio! Day 2 we'll shoot a little more, each lunch then go through editing in NIK software.
